Stop trying to ‘learn’ GA4
New features. New reports. Same confusion.
GA4 isn’t just hard to learn.
It’s hard to keep up with.
There are new features, changing reports, different ways to track the same thing etc. It just keeps changing.
So what do most people do?
They stop trying to fully understand it and just hope things are “good enough.”
The people who actually get comfortable with GA4 don’t try to keep up with everything.
They do something simpler:
👉 Learn one thing while building a campaign
👉 Fix one mistake while tagging links
👉 Understand one metric while reading a report
That’s it.
Small updates. In real time.
Because you will never find time to sit down and learn. The only way to keep up is to learn as you use it.
I have been weaving learning into the tools I am building to help you with GA4 and Analytics. For example, our UTM builder has a learning module which can help reinforce better habits in the moment without extra effort. (Check it out https://utmmanager.com/chrome-extension/)
So going forward, don’t try to “master GA4.”
Just get 1% better every time you open it.
